Well, I’m kinda hard on myself and beat myself up with labels. It’s so engrained, that the thoughts just sometimes slip into my head. Usually it’s due to a mistake I’ve made, a decision that didn’t quite pan out, or something I’ve said that unintentionally hurt somebody’s feelings. I’m tired of this. I’ve been doing/carrying it for years and I’m done dragging around this self-defeating mantra.
“The Behavior Exchange Challenge” is for me, for you, for anybody who wants to work on eliminating thoughts and behaviors that trip us up. Both of us (Barb & Lee) are looking forward to working on our own “stuff” to trade the unhappy, unhealthy thoughts, feelings, behaviors for healthier ones. We’re not inviting you on a journey by yourself…..we’ll be there every step of the way, writing about all we’re going through. We’re pulling back the curtain to be naked on the internet….
